Ryan Selkis resigns from Messari CEO position after Twitter controversy

Selkis recently announced that he would focus his efforts on resolving the systemic issues present in institutional structures. In the interim, Messari’s Chief Revenue Officer, Eric Turner, will assume the role of CEO. Turner has been instrumental in the development of Messari’s research team and products, as well as in managing key client relationships. Recently, Selkis posted tweets which have since been deleted, expressing strong views about Trump and the political situation.

He subsequently acknowledged that his statements had put his team at risk for the first time in 6.5 years. In line with his belief that traditional government regulators are less effective, Selkis advocates for private companies utilizing innovative technologies to address public needs.
