Nigeria delays trial of Binance executive until May 17

The trial was originally scheduled to commence on May 2nd. However, there were reports that the judge decided to postpone it until May 17th.

This delay was made to give the legal team adequate time to review the necessary documents. The case revolves around the educational training that the top manager conducted for local officials.

He was representing the exchange at the time. Gambaryan, the top manager, denied any wrongdoing and asserted that his rights had been violated.

Following a meeting, he was transferred to a high-security detention center. The allegations against the top manager include tax evasion and laundering an amount totaling $35 million.
