Avalanche’s native wallet Core has integrated Blockaid’s privacy-preserving security systems directly to address sophisticated threats such as hacks and phishing scams. This integration aims to mitigate the substantial number of hacks and thefts suffered by protocols and crypto providers, with over 120 incidents occurring so far this year. In April alone, hackers managed to steal more than $53 million in digital assets.
Furthermore, the firm has reported stopping 1.3 million individual on-chain attacks. The head of customer products at Ava Labs, Akash Gupta, emphasized that this integration represents a significant advancement in ensuring that users can explore the Avalanche ecosystem and other platforms with peace of mind.
