The Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) reported a $28.42 million inflow, while the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) saw an inflow of $23.01 million. In contrast, ETFs from Hashdex, Franklin Templeton, Valkyrie, and WisdomTree did not experience any inflows on the same day. Notably, there were no outflows on that day. According to ETF market watcher HODL15Capital, U.S.-based spot Bitcoin ETFs now hold an all-time high amount of BTC at 888,607 coins.
Since their launch at the beginning of the year, spot Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated nearly $16 billion in net inflows. Notably, this figure includes over $18.6 billion that has flowed out of GBTC since its transition into a spot ETF 6 months ago. The news of the record spot Bitcoin ETF inflows appears to have impacted the price of the cryptocurrency, which was trading at $58,543 at the time of writing, marking a 2.4% increase from 24 hours earlier. However, the price increase occurred amidst reduced trading volumes, with approximately $21.76 billion worth of Bitcoin traded in the last 24 hours, a 23.29% decline from the previous day.
